In 2017, the WTAP did not excavate. In the summer a few of us – Sonia, Nicholas, and Hilary – joined by Stony Brook University student Evan Wilson, caught up with the analysis of archaeological held at the National Museum, Nairobi and at the TBI Turkwel facility in Turkana.
In November, Sonia and Nicholas returned to Turkana to lead a small field team and undertake some survey work (photos at the bottom of the page). We got a lot of work done, and managed to squeeze in some fun times too. Here are a few pictures of our adventures.
