Your gift will have a significant impact upon the WTAP’s scientific mission; to unravel how early hominin brains evolved to become uniquely human minds. Our groundbreaking scientific research, conducted against the backdrop of the unique geological exposures of West Turkana, promises further revolutionary discoveries. To help us in our task, we are asking for your help and support.
Our current fundraising priorities, in addition to maintaining our core research programme, are:
- to purchase two new 4×4 off road vehicles for use in Turkana. Without reliable transportation, the team simply cannot perform its primary scientific functions.
- to buy a new canvas dormitory tent, allowing us to bring more students into the field. This will enable us to support the next generation of young scholars and involve them directly in our discoveries.
